JE Design Cayenne: VW Tuner’s First Porsche

July 30th, 2008 by BallerRide

JE Design Porsche Cayenne

German tuner JE Design, known for focusing on VW Group models, will now also be specializing in Porsche. The tuner’s first custom Porsche attempt is the JE Design Cayenne, which gives the Porsche SUV a clean new styling package.

JE Design’s improvements to the Cayenne include a new front fascia, LED daytime running lights, headlight masks, side sills, extended rear fascia with diffuser styling, “Shark Attack” roof fin, 22-inch wheels and lowered suspension. The tuner is currently working on the requisite carbon fiber treatments for the interior.

Although it’s not as aggressive looking as TechArt’s Magnum (pictured after the jump), we’ll give JE Design props for a solid first attempt, and we’re excited to see what they’ve got in store for future Porsche tuning jobs.

Lighteing has unveiled it’s brand new all-electric GT sports car in London. Though you’ll have to find somewhere with three-phase industrial power to take advantage of the quick charge, Lightening claims the car’s price tag of $239,400 is well worth it for the new battery technology.
