The Saleen S5S Raptor will officially debut tomorrow at the New York Auto Show. But before the car takes the stage, we want you to see what Saleen’s got in store with their new eco-friendly super car.
Powered by a supercharged 5.0L engine and running off E85 ethanol, the S5S Raptor produces 650 hp and 630 lb-ft. of torque, allowing the car to race from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds. While the car’s design isn’t extremely unique, the car does sport some aggressive features, like a large front grille and 20-inch rims.
Saleen has scheduled production for 2010, and the price will be $185,000. Stay tuned tomorrow for more pics of the S5S Raptor when it makes its premiere. In the meantime check out the thumbs below.
