Piaggio Debuts More Powerful MP3′s
January 31st, 2008 by BallerRideItalian scooter maker, Piaggio, announced today the release of two new and more powerful MP3 scooter models. The new 400cc and 500cc MP3′s join Piaggio’s existing 250cc model. Boasting 40 horsepower, the MP3 500 is capable of about 90 miles per hour, although its vicious looks would suggest a higher top-end speed. Piaggio introduced the three-wheeled leaning scooter back in 2006 and the MP3 has sold so well in the US, the company saw a market for two powerful versions.
