Nice MyCar: It May be Small but is it Smart?
July 21st, 2008 by BallerRideCan’t take the long wait list for a Smart ForTwo? Another fuel-efficient and budget-friendly minicar is on the way. Although, you won’t want to take it beyond city limits.
Produced by the Nice (No Internal Combustion Engine) electric car company and designed by Giugiaro of Italdesign, the MyCar is a two-person plug-in vehicle debuting this week at the British Motor Show in London (July 23 – Aug 3). While the Nice MyCar produces no carbon emissions and achieves a 40-mile range in normal city driving, the electric minicar tops out at 40mph, as compared with 90mph for the ForTwo and 65mph (and a 110-mile range) for the battery-powered Think City- which is due to hit the U.S. by the end of next year.
