If you spend your time boating around the Atlantic coast, then you’re familiar with the sea nettle, a species of Jellyfish that invades Atlantic estuaries during the summer. The Nettle Net Boat Pool is an innovative product that allows you to swim amongst them. Available in eight, 12 and 20-foot diameters, the Nettle Net comes with 1/16″ mesh netting that sinks eight feet deep and comes attached to a rugged flotation ring. The netting is so small that it prevents any sea nettle tentacles from poking through, preventing you from painful stings. Setup and breakdown times vary by size and range from two to six minutes, and the largest net collapses to the size of a 15” beach ball and weighs only 18 pounds. Prices range from $480 for the 8’ net up to $1,360 for the 20’ net. We hope to see a shark net in the works.
