Maybach Landaulet Drop Top

Back on January 14th we showed you Maybach’s drop-top Landaulet when it made its North American debut in Detroit. Now, we’ve got confirmation that the car will officially be produced, making it the fifth model in Maybach’s lineup. The price? EUR 900,000, or U.S. $1.35 million. Maybach is not specifying how many will be made or what the time period will be, but they’ve indicated that production will be limited, as you’d expect for any car over the million dollar mark.

Maybach Landaulet Drop Top

Making its North American debut in Detroit this week, the half sedan/half convertible Maybach Landaulet is meant for those who prefer to be chauffeured. The car allows for the driver’s compartment to be completely closed while the passengers in the rear can enjoy open top motoring. Luxury amenities in the Landaulet include a full entertainment system with a DVD player, dual television screens, and a compartment to hold a bottle of champagne and goblets. Perhaps the coolest feature in the Landaulet is the reclining seats in the rear. We’re also a fan of the coke-white leather seating.
