Edo Builds LP710, World’s Fastest Lamborghini
August 4th, 2008 by BallerRideAfter setting the record for the world’s fastest Lamborghini with its modified 663hp version of the Lamborghini LP640, Edo Competition has released an even faster version of the supercar, dubbed the LP710. As the name implies, Edo’s twice-tuned Lambo packs an incredible 710hp with 516 ft-lb of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0-62 mph in 3.2 seconds and top out at an estimated 224 mph.
To achieve greater power on its LP, Edo’s added an adjustable lip to the optimized rear wing and given the Lambo new exhaust headers, high-flow catalytic converters, mufflers, performance camshafts, high flow air filters, modified cylinder heads, reprogrammed engine controls and an improved exhaust tip.
Edo’s LP package will run you $77,000 on top of the $400,000 you’ll spend on the stock Lambo. Not exactly inexpensive. But with the LP710, you’ll have the ability to drive faster than Bruce Wayne, who drove the stock LP640 in The Dark Knight.
