The official word has dropped on the new and improved 2010 E63 and the whip lives up to its predecessor and then some. The seven-speed, 12%-more fuel efficient Mercedes has imrovedfuel efficiency with its Speedshift MCT 7-speed gearbox which has four driving modes of Controlled Efficiency, Sport, Sport Plus and Manual. The E63 AMG has 518hp, which is 9 more hp than the last model, with the same amount of torque at 565lbs/foot.
