Lotus Evora: the New Hollywood “It” Car?

Lotus Evora

The 2010 four-seater Lotus Evora is quickly becoming a coveted item in celebrity circles, with the waitlist now including two James Bonds and the hosts of popular British auto show Top Gear.  According to Autoblog, Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan have already snagged spots on the Lotus Evora list, as have Top Gear’s Richard Hammond and James May.

Powered by a Toyota 3.5-liter V-6, the 276 horsepower Evora sprints from 0-60 mph in under five seconds and tops out at around 160 mph.  Not exactly a race car, but not too shabby considering its 2+2 configuration and room for golf clubs in the rear trunk.

The Lotus Evora is loaded with more luxuries than smaller members of the Lotus family, such as blue LED coach lighting and an Alpine media system. Expect the Evora to hit the streets late ‘09.

Gas Powered Snowboard

December 1st, 2008 by BallerRide

Winter is upon us, and what better way to get around than a gas powered snowboard? Combine the snowmobile and snowboard and surf over the deepest fresh powder or packed, granular snow. It reminds us of Jimmy D’z Motorized Snowboard, which would beat Hammacker’s model 35mph to 18mph. But if you’re looking for a more skooter-like ride, this gas powered snowboard runs on a 1 3/4″ rubber track that flexes as you lean in the direction you want to go, just like a regular snowboard. The gas powered snowboard runs off a 6 1/2hp four cylinder engine which accomadates riders up to 250lbs. The gas powered snowboard will appeal to the Skier and snowboarder and will run you only $2,000.
