Don’t we just love the Lambos and the company’s extreme efforts at coming out with newer and better road racers from a performance as well as design standpoint! The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale is the newest and latest Lambo on the scene produced by Volkswagen’s Italian supercar subsidiary. What is unique about the Super Trofeo Stradale is its extremely lightweight construction (a whopping 70 kgs down from the already slim Gallardo LP 560-4) and aerodynamic body. The motor still remains the same as before. The new design and construction is the result of the learning curve from the Blancpain Super Trofeo race series. With that said, this beauty is strictly for those who have a penchant for racing cars. Read the rest of this entry »

While we’re still sulking over the fact that the Sesto Elemento will be limited to less than 20 units for the track only, we’re a little more chipper after hearing that Lamborghini will be bringing out a special edition version of the Gallardo Bicolore for customers.
The Gallardo run is coming to a close – which we’re hoping means that Lamborghini will bring in a road version of the Sesto Elemento. To commemorate & celebrate the last Gallardo release however, Lamborghini will be launching the special edition at the Detroit Auto Show in early 2011.
The Bicolore edition will feature the duotone option again on the body, with a more sporty interior & a slight increase in power output from the engine.

When Lamborghini revealed the Sesto Elemento earlier this year, we at Baller Ride got very excited, drooling at this beauty of a concept car that the company unveiled at the Paris Auto Show.
It’s an absolute beauty with its 570-horsepower V10 engine & a top speed of over 186 miles per hour, thanks to the engine & the car’s light weight of 2,202 lbs – attributed to all the carbon fibre Lamborghini have used on the body.
Lamborghini have just dropped a bombshell on petrolheads however, by announcing the Sesto Elemento will be a limited production model for the track only! That means that you won’t be seeing it cruising through the countryside, or going slowly down Hollywood Boulevard at any point in time.

At the Paris Motor Show just over a month ago, Lotus stunned everyone by unveiling no less than five concept vehicles at the show, with the promise of a “new era” for the manufacturing company. And that was directly from CEO Dany Bahar’s mouth at the time.
The show saw everyone getting very excited about the Esprit, Elan, Elite, Elise & Eterne concept cars – vehicles that look set to reinvent the Lotus brand & put them on the same track as Ferrari, Aston Martin, Maserati & Lamborghini. Some tough guys to play with, but Lotus are already setting their sights on the checkered flag with the Esprit.
The Esprit concept car is currently the only one of those sexy 5 that is actually being developed right now, according to the UK’s Autocar magazine.
