Famed German Mercedes tuner BRABUS has introduced a new line of tuning packages fitted to each model of the new Mercedes-Benz SL. As usual, BRABUS’ new modified SLs deliver a ridiculous amount of power and luxury, especially evident in the company’s top-of-the-line BRABUS SL 600.

The BRABUS SL 600 comes powered by a SV12 S Biturbo engine, originally developed for the BRABUS ROCKET, the world’s fastest sedan. Producing 720 horsepower and 973 lb-ft of torque, the SV12 S Biturbo allows the BRABUS SL 600 to race from 0-62 mph in 4.0 seconds and hit an electronically-controlled top speed of 219 mph.

Mercedes-tuner BRABUS announced a new package deal in Geneva yesterday that should get yacht owners excited. Combining a customized Mercedes SLR McLaren with a matching Smart Fortwo ULTIMATE 112, BRABUS’ new package gives yacht owners the opportunity to own both the ultimate sports car and city driver.

The tuned 5.5 Liter, 650 hp SLR Roadster rockets from rest to 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 211 mph, making it perfect for country roads and highways. The modified Smart Fortwo, on the other hand, makes the ultimate “tender for the city,” as its small frame ensures easy parking and handling.

Both cars come with body kits, new wheels, and lipstick-red BRABUS Mastik leather interiors with black Alcantara touches. Paint and interior colors can be switched upon the purchaser’s request. And the SLR can be switched out for a Maybach.

The cost? EUR 699,000 ($1,062,000).

If you’re looking for power in an eco-friendly ride, the BRABUS E 300 BLUETEC should hold you over until the Tesla hits dealerships. BRABUS’ new PowerXtra D6 BLUE performance kit for the Mercedes E 300 BLUETEC boosts the power on the cleanest diesel car on the market by 47 hp. With BRABUS’ performance kit, the E 300 BLUETEC’s engine produces 258 hp total. And the car sprints from 0 to 62 mph in 6.8 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. Not exactly racecar speeds, but not bad either.

To add the PowerXtra D6 BLUE performance kit to your E 300 BLUETEC, you’re looking at about $2,650. Any authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer can perform the conversion.
