While we’re on the topic of LCD screens in unusual places, like the dual TV’s above the boat swim step in the Dzine post below, we present to you AC Schitzer’s new LCD gear shifters.
The German tuner’s new LCD shifters display the current gear on manual transmission models. Not super practical, but we’re always a fan of more LCD’s, no matter where they are.
AC Schnitzer will begin installing the LCD shifters on Minis and other BMW models.

We’re not suggesting you go with the color scheme pictured above, but Sweetskinz colored tires are worth a look, especially if you want your ride to stand out. Available for the car, motorcycle, ATV, or bicycle, Sweetskinz come in a variety of patterns, including camouflage and snakeskin. Most of Sweetskinz tires are made to order, but the company offers a line of bicycle tires that run about $27-$60 each depending on their size. We see big potential in this product, especially as it becomes more commercially available.
Available though: Sweetskinz

If you thought $545 was a lot to spend on one of Macots Unlimited’s custom hood ornaments, prepare to be blown away. For the New York Auto Show, luxury car dealership Manhattan Motorcars commissioned a Rolls Royce Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament coming in at $200,000.
While it stands just four inches long by two inches wide, the hood ornament carries 150 carats of D color VVS1 quality diamonds on the body, as well as intense yellow diamonds on the wings.
Manhattan jeweler Jean Kemanjian will not produce any replicas, but we bet there are other jewelers who would. Or you could convince Kemanjian to produce your own custom hood ornament design.
