Want to combine deep sea fishing with a luxury yachting experience? New Zealand boat builder Sovereign Yachts just recently launched a new 103′ Sportfisherman that serves both functions equally well. The boat, dubbed “Al Duhail,” comes with accommodations for 10 guests and 4 crew and features a luxurious interior, as you’d expect on a yacht of its size. At the same time, the fishing yacht is equipped with two game chairs on the rear, allowing for an ample amount of fishing space. Al Duhail is the first of two Sportfisherman 103’s designed by Warwick Yacht Design. We’re not sure whether or not the boat’s have been spoken for yet. We do know that the second unit is under construction and will be built to similar specs as Al Duhail.

Nordia Yachts Introduces Flagship 120′ Performance Cruiser

May 27th, 2008 by BallerRide

nordia-120.jpg

Dutch shipyard Van Dam Nordia Yachts (Nordia for short) has announced its latest and largest lightweight sailing yacht, the 120-foot Performance Cruiser. Armed with a wealth of knowledge after constructing two 70′ Performance Cruisers, Nordia has designed its 120′ sailyacht to incorporate its values of “high-end build quality, individuality and a maximum amount of comfort, but now with the addition of even more speed and sharper handling characteristics.”

Instead of stripping most of the shipyard’s standard luxury interior features and calling the yacht minimalistic, Nordia Chief Designer Robin Ten Hoope and his team reevaluated every component on the 120′ Performance Cruiser and devised a two-level configuration that keeps the boat light but still conveys a high level of luxury.
