U-Boat Worx will be unveiling their new range of personal submarines at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show in October.

The new C-Explorer will seat 1 to 5 people & will feature models that can dive up to 3280 feet (1000 meters). So far there’s only pricing for the 100 meter model & that’s estimated at just over $900,000.00.

There are 5 depth specs available for the various models: 328, 656, 984, 1968 & 3280 feet. The sub features an acrylic 360-degree pressure hull, air conditioning system, up to 18 hours of operation & hydraulically releasable safety buoy.

A touch screen displays the battery life, thrusters & alarm monitoring & is viewable in sunlight. There’s an onboard acoustic single-band underwater communication set & an echo sounder.

The great thing about the C-Explorer range is that extra tools can be fitted to the sub to suit your needs: such as HD cameras, high intensity lights, manipulator arms, etc etc.

So if you’re heading to the Monaco Yacht Show or the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, stop by the U-Boat Worx stand for a look at their new sub.
