Bugatti Veyron Super Sport Takes Top Honors Again

If you’re a speed-freak then you need to get your hands on the steering wheel of the new Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. The car took to the track at VW’s Ehra-Lessien in Germany & set a new Guinness World Record.
With an average of 268mph during the test, the car’s world record was recognized by an official from Guinness.

The Super Sport has had some modifications which give it the edge on its competitors: an engine outputting 1,200 horsepower, redesigned chassis, larger turbochargers & intercoolers.
The commercial version will be limited to 258mph by a computer chip however, because apparently your types have a tendency to melt at speeds above that. Of course, that’s more than enough speed to keep adrenaline junkies satisfied on the open road.

There’s no word yet on when the Super Sport will be available in showrooms, but rumors are that the company will be putting about 100 into production – which means you need to get your order in before they’re all sold out.
