Seaplanes have always offered adventure in the form of travel to the far reaches of the world where very few, if any, have traveled. And now, you can get to those destinations in classic style with Viking’s revival of the classic de Havilland Twin Otter Turboprop. The new floatplane is designed very similarly to the old one, which featured great rugged versitility, only it’s been outfitted with modern technology to imropve performance and safety.

The Twin Otter 400 series can be flown at 80 to 160 knots and is ideally suited for flying in all conditions and climates. Seating up to 19 people, the 52ft high winged, un-pressurized, twin Pratt & Whitney turbine engines will take you and a handfull of friends to the tropics, Antartica, Alaska and beyond as it can land anywhere with wheels, floats, skis or tundra tires. The Viking Twin Otter can be yours for $3.8 million.
