Platune-Sand-X: the World’s Fastest Off-Road Vehicle

Part ATV, part snowmobile for sand, the Platune-Sand-X is a limited edition off-road road racer capable of hitting 115 mph and sprinting from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds. Built with two enormous front tires and a rear track, the vehicle is the product of a collaboration between European-based firms Platune and Sand-X. According to Jared Paul Stern of Luxist, the Platune-Sand-X “will be the safest, fastest, and most powerful ATV ever built.” Pricing has yet to be set. Yet this luxury offroader is already stirring up considerable interest in the Middle East.
