Tesla Roadster Sport Offers More Speed for More Dough

Tesla has brought more speed and power to their all-electric sports car. For an extra $20,000 the Roadster Sport shaves off 0.2 seconds on it’s 0-60mph time bringing the Tesla from 3.9 seconds to 3.7 seconds in the all-important rating. Horsespower has been increased from 244 to 288 and includes both a custom-tuned adjustable suspension (tuned to driver’s liking) and special black alloy wheels, which replace the stock suspension and wheels. The tires are upgraded from Yokohama AD07, meant for summer driving, to Yokohama A048, a barely street-legal competition tire. The Tesla Roadster Sport will run you $128,500 and is expected to be available this June.
