World’s Most Expensive Car, Aston Martin One-77, Sold Out!

Aston Martin’s One-77, the world’s most expensive production car at $2.3 million, has officially sold out. So if you want to get your hands on one, get ready to comb the resale market.
Only 77 units of the luxury coupe will be made, making the One-77 even more exclusive than the Bugatti Veyron, of which 300 total cars will be produced. The 650 hp One-77 hits a top speed of 220 mph and sprints from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds. Not quite the Veyron’s performance, but then again, the One-77 is more exclusive.
Each One-77 will be custom-made for the buyer. Aston Martin succeeded in creating the exclusivity buzz for the car by keeping the media at a distance, barring the press from the official top-secret unveiling at the Paris Motor Show.
As with the Reventon, it’s highly likely that dealerships and speculators were among the 77 Aston Martin One-77 buyers. We’re expecting to see at least one or two come up for grabs when the One-77’s start rolling out of the factory.
