Bugatti to Produce 1350hp Veyron GT Package?
September 17th, 2008 by BallerRide 1 Comment
According to an alleged leaked memo, Bugatti has a GT package in the works to make the Veyron even faster, adding 363hp to the immensely powerful 987hp engine that the Veyron is currently packing. If the rumors are true, the 1350hp Veyron GT with 1,018lb-ft of torque will top out at 264 mph and do the 0-62 sprint in 2.4 seconds. A 36% increase in power!
To equip the Veyron GT for this power boost, Bugatti will be adding carbon-ceramic brakes, a revised Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and a new active aerodynamics package which lowers ground clearance, adjusts rear spoiler and open/closes lids.
Current Veyron owners rejoice. If the Veyron GT package is real, it will be made available as an upgrade to existing Veyrons. If true, deliveries are estimated for March, 2009.
Keep your fingers crossed!
