Hydrofoils have been added on everything from sailboats to surfboards. However, as hydrofoil has yet to make its way onto a jetski. Industrial designer Matt De Bellefeuille aims to change this with his FoilJet MR1 hydrofoil jetski concept.
The environmentally-friendly FoilJet MR1, which combines the design of a jetski and a dirt bike, is said to increase safety and efficiency on the water. According to the designer, the 48 Volt battery-powered engine and hydrofoil base allow theFoilJet to operate quietly with virtually no wake.
If built, the FoilJet MR1 is projected to sell for $15,000.
