Hummer-Bentley Hybrid Brings Shame to Brand and Dubai

The re-branded Hummer you see above is indeed a Bentley. Crewe, the custom shop rumored to make a Bentley-Hummer ultimately decided against the hybrid, but yet here it is. The driver apparently couldn’t “pick up a Range Rover…or a Q7 from Bentley sister-brand Audi [or] even a VW Touareg V10 TDI…so he had to have his own Bentley SUV made up. Er, sorta.”
We don’t generally hate at BallerRide because no one likes a hater, but every once in a while something comes out that takes luxury one step too far and makes us cringe. We’re fans of Dubai, where this monstrosity was made, and even posted an article on BallerHouse hinting that the world’s most desirable address is in Dubai. But this Dubai-based Hummer-Bentley hybrid has made us question if the current “too much money, not enough taste” lingo attached to the luxurious city has some validity. We humbly ask that this is one-off remains a one-off, and that the driver might consider keeping it in the garage with his Pinto-Mercedes hybrid.

This is why I avoid Eastern Europe. They don’t have a handle or race, gender, politics, ethics, inner peace or….taste in cars.
