Bugatti Gives First Priority on Limited Veyron Sang Noir to U.S. Customers
July 1st, 2008 by BallerRide No Comments
Last September Bugatti hosted a dinner on the night of the Frankfurt motor show where the company sold all five limited-edition Pur Sang (pure blood) Veyrons that it had released earlier that day. American enthusiasts that could not make it to the dinner were understandably pissed, so Bugatti rebounded by recently creating another limited edition model, the Sang Noir (black blood), which is being offered to U.S. customers before European customers get the chance to put their names down. Fifteen total Sang Noirs will hit the market.
Bugatti is keeping details on the Sang Noir hush, but photos of the limited-edition Veyron show that the car’s special black finish extends to the aluminum air intakes and that the San Noir’s sporting more bare carbon fiber than the standard Veyron. The images also show the Sang Noir sitting on a new set of wheels, which are more aggressive than those on Bugatti’s other limited-edition models like the Veyron Fbg par Hermès.
According to Bugatti, 230 of the 300 total planned Veyrons have been ordered. Limited-edition runs like the Sang Noir have fueled recent sales.
