Texas-based Ron Motor Company’s Scorpion is one of the more exciting concept cars we’ve seen since launching this website. Using a hybrid hydrogen injection system, the Scorpion does the 0-60 mph sprint in 3.5 seconds. Extremely impressive given the car’s 40mpg fuel efficiency. Unlike the its less expensive competitor, the Tesla, Ronn Motor’s Scorpion sports an aggressive, exotic look. Ronn Motor Company expects the first production Scorpion to hit the road in 2009 and plans to start out with a limited release of 200 cars.
