Francesco Sommacal’s 360 Riding Device
June 6th, 2008 by BallerRide No Comments
The 360 is a concept device from designer Francesco Sommacal that replicates a sensation somewhere between snowboarding, surfing, and skateboarding. Riders place their feet into the inner part of both wheels, which puts them in a natural position to shred roads, grass, or dirt hills. A speed control mechanism allows riders to bomb steep hills without worrying about losing control.
For those who’d rather push the device to its limits, the 360 can handle skate parks, BMX tracks, etc. Although we’ve yet to see a rail slide. Check out Sommacal’s Zerofra Design site to view videos of the 360 in action. Our only guidance to Sommacal is that he should assemble a talented 360 team quickly if he intends to market the product. His wheelies and carving skills aren’t quite cutting it.
