Roland Sands & Mr. Cartoon Preview Bike Collaboration
June 2nd, 2008 by BallerRide No Comments
Custom motorcycle manufacturer Roland Sands and LA tattoo artist Mr. Cartoon have released a series of images on a collaboration bike they put together. Roland Sands built the bike, Cartoon airbrushed the murals, and DeAlbas layed the paint. According to Sal “The Apprentice” in Cartoon’s camp, the pictures don’t really do the piece justice, and they’ll be displaying the bike at car shows in the future. If that’s the case, we can’t wait to see the custom bike in person.
To get your Roland Sands and Cartoon fill in the meantime, check out their new shops in the Skid Row section of downtown Los Angeles. Cartoon’s “Last Laugh” tattoo studio opened up this past Saturday along with Upper Playground LA and Estevan Oriol’s retail space. Roland Sands is temporarily filling a fourth revolving concept space, where the motorcycle designer is exhibiting next to limited-edition fashion pieces from designer and model Tony Ward’s line, Six in the Face.
