Edo Competition Introduces New Performance Package for the Maserati MC12

Supercar-tuner edo competition has been busy. Just last month the German customizer introduced a new kit for the Ferrari 599 GTB. Now they’ve announced a new tuning package for the Maserati MC12 specifically designed to improve the car’s power-to-weight ratio. The new package accomplishes edo’s objectives by adding 70 hp to the MC12 while shaving 220 lbs off of the supercar, bringing the performance inline with the company’s tweaked Ferrari Enzo (the MC12’s sister car). Like the edo Enzo, the edo MC12 throws off 700 hp total and 527 lb-ft of torque, hitting 0-62 mph in 3.5 seconds and topping out at 230 mph.
Notable tweaks to the edo Maserati MC12 include new exhaust headers, a stainless steel muffler with adjustable remote-controlled butterfly-valve, new exhaust tips, adjustable exhaust sound levels, a tire pressure monitoring system displaying air pressure and tire temperature for each wheel, a new adjustable rear wing, and a new performance clutch. As with edo’s other packages, the color scheme on the MC12 can be switched out to meet the purchaser’s taste.
