Derbi DH2.0: the Lightweight Off-Road Bike Concept
May 8th, 2008 by BallerRide 1 Comment
Spanish motorcycle manufacturer Derbi has unveiled its latest concept bike, a lightweight off-road racer coined the Derbi DH2.0. Weighing in at just 88 lbs, the DH2.0 is powered by a 100cc, 8 horsepower engine that provides ample power considering the bike’s low weight.
Innovative design features on the DH2.0 include a carbon fiber swingarm, a unique radial front brake caliper, black nitride forks, and foot pegs that resemble bicycle pedals. The minimalist features contribute to a design that looks like a cross between a mountain bike and a traditional motocross bike.

When the bike hits production, it may come in slightly heavier than its current weight, but there’s no doubt that the Derbi DH2.0 will be among the lightest bikes in its category. Unfortunately, the bike will run on unleaded gasoline, as opposed to some of the latest bike innovations, like the ENV fuel cell motorcycle.

hello, you need to make this into a bicycle. make it large enough for adults and this would go off. I am currently looking for a full suspension bicycle that looks just like yours. Your bike is awsome. I would want one if it were a large bicycle. just a thought. Get back to me. Thanks, Darren USA
