BRABUS Introduces Sport Packages for the new SL

Famed German Mercedes tuner BRABUS has introduced a new line of tuning packages fitted to each model of the new Mercedes-Benz SL. As usual, BRABUS’ new modified SLs deliver a ridiculous amount of power and luxury, especially evident in the company’s top-of-the-line BRABUS SL 600.
The BRABUS SL 600 comes powered by a SV12 S Biturbo engine, originally developed for the BRABUS ROCKET, the world’s fastest sedan. Producing 720 horsepower and 973 lb-ft of torque, the SV12 S Biturbo allows the BRABUS SL 600 to race from 0-62 mph in 4.0 seconds and hit an electronically-controlled top speed of 219 mph.
In the tuned SL 600 and its other modified SL’s, BRABUS has made upgrades to the suspensions, brake systems, exterior, and interior. According to BRABUS press release, the exterior of BRABUS’ SLs have been upgraded to include stainless-steel BRABUS sport exhaust system with four chrome-plated tailpipes, a “strikingly-styled” aerodynamic-enhancement kit, and BRABUS Monoblock light-alloy wheels, among a number of other improvements.
Interior modifications include “scuff plates with illuminated BRABUS-logo, an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel with shift paddles, and an exclusive BRABUS custom interior crafted from an exquisite combination of especially soft yet durable BRABUS Mastik leather and Alcantara.”
