Hit the Lake with a Thoroughbred
April 9th, 2008 by BallerRide 2 Comments
While dropping anchor in a secluded lake cove might not carry the same status as docking your yacht in St. Tropez harbor, there’s plenty of ways to ball on fresh water and for only a fraction of the price you’d pay to play with the big boys at sea. To make a big splash at your lake, we’d suggest hooking up a custom houseboat like the 117-foot 2008 Thoroughbred Yacht currently for sale at a price of $1.75 million.
For the money, the Thoroughbred 117 comes equipped with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, an office, a sunken kitchen, a number of flat panel televisions, four security cameras, and two Jacuzzi tubs. Custom features include extensive exotic wood finishes, four refrigerators, four icemakers, a hydraulic lift master bed, a top deck mister system, a 21-foot horseshoe bar, two fireplaces, an ostrich skin ceiling, and the list goes on.
For an ocean-going yacht of the same size and luxury, you could easily drop four times as much. Check out the images in the thumbs below to see what we’re talking about.
