Blohm + Voss Launches 387′ SIGMA Megayacht
March 10th, 2008 by BallerRide 2 Comments
German ship builder Blohm + Voss has launched its newest futuristic 387-foot megayacht, SIGMA. Designed by Phillipe Starck and built under the supervision of Blue Ocean Yacht Management, SIGMA features a cutting edge reverse-hull that pierces through waves with less resistance than a conventional bow yacht.
While its too early to tell how the yacht will be outfitted, artist renderings suggest a pool and jacuzzi will located in front of the covered deck. Original renderings also call for a helipad on top of the yacht’s superstructure.
As we learn more about the SIGMA, we’ll keep you posted. Artist rendering after the jump.
