Fresh From Geneva: KTM Debuts Production X-Bows
March 5th, 2008 by BallerRide No Comments
A year after unveiling its X-Bow concept, famed motorcycle maker KTM has officially debuted its production versions of the car in Geneva. While the company expects to turn out a maximum of 1,000 X-Bows per year, 2,000 people have already committed to the wait list.
On the production car, KTM has smoothed out some of the rough edges from the concept, including the exhaust/intake systems. The company has also added a fully adjustable suspension and tweaked the bodywork and cockpit. Like the concept, the production X-Bow comes with an Audi-sourced, 220 hp four-cylinder engine that powers that car from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds.
KTM will make two versions of the car: the standard X-Bow pictured above, and a limited edition Dallara Series that will account for about 10% of production. The Dallara Series sports a pearl white paint job and a number of performance adjustments to make the car more track-worthy.
Pricing on the X-Bow starts at €54,561 ($82,938)
