The Mary Slim Almost Green Yacht

The Mary Slim luxury yacht from Multimarine features a super-slim and extra-long haul designed to reduce the boat’s drag and thereby lower its biodiesel fuel consumption. And the boat can be powered by kite or sail if the wind is right. Unfortunately, the Mary Slim can’t obtain a “green” designation because of its 12-cylinder, 1650 hp engine.
We’re a fan of the design. Although the concept seems about as practical as a hybrid Escalade. One more image after the jump.
