Pratt & Miller’s Corvette C6RS Convertible
February 25th, 2008 by BallerRide No CommentsIf you’ve got a Corvette Z06 and $185k in your budget for modifications, hand it over to Pratt & Miller, and they’ll convert it into their souped-up C6RS Convertible.
Powered by a Katech Performance 8.2-liter all-aluminum small-block V8 engine, the Pratt & Miller Corvette C6RS Convertible delivers an impressive 600 hp and 600 lb.-ft. of torque. The C6RS carbon fiber body is 1.6 inches wider than the production version of the Z06 and features a front fascia that has integrated brake ducts and ram air induction. The car also comes equipped with a computer-controlled adjustable suspension system and Brembo monobloc disc brakes.
After Jay Leno’s custom-built C6RS hardtop showed at SEMA, Pratt & Miller announced that they’d be making C6RS available to anyone willing to cough up the cash. Now, the first production C6RS has been delivered, to none other than Pratt & Miller co-owner Jim Miller. Full-scale production on the C6RS will ramp up in April.
