Futuristic 4NE1 Roller Coaster Seat Concept

While it might not work in your Lambo, the 4NE1 seating solution by Futuris Automotive could bring the next revolution in mass transit seating. Designed with safety in mind, the roller coaster like seats are built for front and rear impact absorption, with an anti-whiplash backrest that comes forward upon impact. For storage purposes, the seats slide neatly up and down roof rails or fold up to provide more cargo room than standard seating.

When the 4NE1 seating solution hits the market, you’ll likely see it used in public transit systems before you can purchase it for your ride. With mass transit as the intended purpose, we’re pleasantly surprised to see the seats sport such a fresh look. We hope to see Futuris comes out with a driver’s seat in the future, so we can feel like we’re steering a roller coaster.
