Lamborghini is set to unveil a new personalization program, dubbed Ad Personam, at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show. The program will allow Lambo buyers to customize their vehicles directly through the dealership.

As part of the launch, Lamborghini will release three examples highlighting some of the new options buyers will have with the Ad Personam program:

  • The Gallardo Spyder will be presented in Marrone Appus, the same matte brown paint originally debuted on the Reventon. The interior also exhibits a new shade of brown Alcantara leather, named Marrone Gaia, which is used to upholster the seats.
  • The Murciélago LP640 Coupé and Roadster will rock a new shade of light blue, named Blu Cepheus, which is “inspired by the purity and transparency of polar ice.”
  • The Roadster will also come equipped with an untreated and worn Italian leather, inspired by the leather on horse saddles.

Lamborghini aims to give “customers the widest range of possibilities for individualizing their cars. This allows them the ability to reflect their own personality and style.” The company touts that the new customization program draws inspiration from the “most glamorous trends in fashion.” We just hope they’re talking about men’s fashion.
