G-POWER Hurricane: the World’s Fastest BMW
January 2nd, 2008 by BallerRide 1 Comment
Claiming the title of the world’s fastest and most powerful street-legal BMW is the G-POWER Hurricane, based on the latest M5. At the heart of the high-performance sedan is a five-liter V10 engine with a G-POWER EVO II supercharging system that delivers 730 hp and a top speed of 211 mph.
With a 4.2 second sprint time from 0 to 62 mph, the two-tone sedan bests its production counterpart by a half second. And the G-POWER HURRICANE is not limited electronically to a top speed of 155 mph, like the production model.
The G-POWER sits on Silverstone 21” light-alloy wheels and carries a price tag of 300,000 Euros (app. $440,000) for the fully-converted car. Any existing M5, sedan or wagon, can also be upgraded with the G-POWER twin-compressor system.
