December 28th, 2007 by BallerRide No CommentsThe newest yacht to come off the Lürssen yard, the 223 foot Kismet, is available for charter through Moran Yacht & Ship for a cost of € 550,000 (about $800,000) plus expenses. Lürssen is one of the top builders in the superyachts game and is famous for constructing such ships as Paul Allen’s Octopus and Larry Ellison’s Rising Sun, the largest privately owned yacht in the world. Since Kismet is Lürssen’s only superyacht produced for 2007, this is a pretty unique charter opportunity.
What you’ll get for the money
Painted in BMW Michigan Blue, Kismet comes decked out with all the latest gadgets and toys you would expect in a yacht that costs close to a mil per week. Guest rooms come complete with two televisions, one inlaid in a marble wall over the vanity and one above the Jacuzzi tub.
