Saddam Hussein’s Yacht on Sale for $35 Million
December 26th, 2007 by BallerRide No Comments
In case you missed this in the news, Saddam Hussein’s 270 ft. yacht, Ocean Breeze, is for sale. Built by Helsingor Vaerft in 1981, the yacht was never delivered to Iraq, as Saddam kept it in Saudi Arabia and other ports. The interior is decorated throughout with fine mahogany, gold, silver, and marble. Aside from ornate fountains and giant lavish rooms, there are bathrooms with gold fixtures, Jacuzzis, steam rooms, a helicopter pad, a large theater, game rooms complete with both table tennis and pool tables, and a flat screen TV in almost every cabin.
If that doesn’t quite do it for you, this yacht’s security features include bullet-proof glass on every window, storage for heavy machine-guns and surface-to-air missiles, and a secret passage that leads to a fast getaway boat or mini-submarine pod; whatever you’re in the mood for. The broker, Burgess London, is inviting offers in the neighborhood of $34,500,000 for Ocean Breeze.
