Official pictures have been leaked of the new budget Lamborghini and we have only one question; this is the budget model? The Valentino Balboni, named after one of Lambo’s best test drivers who retired after 40 years with the company, ditches the Gallardo’s four-wheel drive system for a rear-drive setup while power comes from a 550HP 5.2-liter V10 engine. That means 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, only .2 seconds off the LP 560hp 4 wheel drive model, with a top speed of 199mph, only 3 mph off the LP560-4. While that’s 25 mph off the world’s fastest Lamorghini, LP710, it’s a great deal for a new Lambo as it will retail for $219,800. Check out the lines in the gallery below.
It’s official, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is the world’s fastest legal production convertible at 253 mph top-up and 223 mph top-down. The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport debuted in August 2008 and will run you $2 Million. Of the 150 beautiful Grand Sports the first was sold for $2.9 Million, though we imagine it would go for less in this world economy. If you’re looking for something a bit more roomy, check out the world’s fastest four-door convertible. But for bachelors and convertibl;e fans, the world’s fastest production convertible is featured in the gallery below.
Created by ex-TVR owner and recently passed on Peter Wheeler, the Scamander RRV is the ultimate go-anywhere vehicle. As he explains it “Lots of people are fed up with their traditional sports cars, like Ferrari and Lamborghini produce, so I wanted to create an alternative. I created it for me, to be honest. I enjoy shooting, sailing and driving on track, so I wanted something that could cover all these elements. I call it an RRV, for rapid response vehicle.” Read on after the jump.
“Limo Service for That Special Occasion” indeed. It would have to be quite a special occasion to take a ride with this dude who’s offering his services as a chaufer in his one-of-a-kind custom Ferrari with 495 horses and 24 carat gold wheels. Baller? We think not, incredibly halarious and amusing? Absolutely.
Why he has a guitar and is posing without his shirt in many of the gallery photos, we just don’t know. But if you’re wondering how much the Ferrari Guy’s services cost, try $300/hr for the Ferrari and $250/hr for 2-4 people in the “TonyTag Mobile”, which is a collectors series Cadillac 2002 Eldorado Touring Coupe (maybe it’s not pictured for a reason). Any takers for the “Magnificent Mile”? Thanks to BallerRide fan Stephen Gamble for suggesting this article.
